There are thousands of religious denominations. Are they all right? How can we know? A popular saying is, "Go to the church of your choice." Is that Biblical? What is a denomination, and is the Church of God a denomination?
To answer these questions and more, listen to the youth lesson "Is the Church of God a Denomination?"
What is the "King's Highway"? What are the dangers of "strange and different teachings"? There are two ditches along the Highway of Holiness, and the devil is working to blow you off the highway and into a ditch. God has given us His Word so that we will not be ignorant of Satan's devices.
The Book of Ezekiel is like a beautiful tapestry, consisting of many varied and colorful threads. This book by Earl R. Borders follows the thread of the Visionary and Typical Portrayal of the Gospel Day in Ezekiel's prophecies.
In the prophecies of Ezekiel, there are many parallels with the truths housed in the Book of Revelation. Volume I of this two-volume series takes us typically from the inception of the Gospel Day on the Day of Pentecost up to the evening-time portion of the Gospel Day.
This book can be downloaded here and will also be available in the God's Acres bookstore during the August camp meeting.
"What are you going to do after you graduate? What are you going to do with your life? Will you get additional education? What vocation/job are you looking at?" These are important questions, but what about your spiritual call?
The Church of God has many "callings" (teachers, preachers, singers, Sunday school teachers, janitors, storytellers, choir directors, printers, evangelists, pastors, and working with children, to name a few).
In the June camp meeting, several came to the youth services and shared how they prepared for and recognized the call from God to work in His kingdom.
