Devotion - 2 Kings 15:21

King David was on the run. His son Absalom had declared himself king and had turned the hearts of the people against David. To protect the people of Jerusalem, David and his household fled the city.  As David watched his servants march past him, he noticed at the end of the procession "six hundred men ... from Gath" (a Philistine city). They were led by their commander, Ittai. Years earlier, while David was fleeing from King Saul, these men had joined him.
